Monday’s match-up between the Chiefs and the Packers should be a good one. The Chiefs are 1-1 and coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Denver Broncos on primetime television. The Packers are 2-0 and took care of the Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks in their first two games.

  • While the Packers have a legitimate offense with Aaron Rodgers, Randall Cobb, James Jones, and Eddie Lacy, the Chiefs’ defense can hopefully counter that. If Alex Smith and the Chiefs offense can shake off last week’s awful performance, the Chiefs might have more of a shot in this one than people are giving them credit for.

The part that favors the Packers, however, is that the game is at Lambeau Field. Lambeau is one of the best home field advantages in all of the National Football League. Rodgers hasn’t thrown a pick there since the 2013 season. The fans are some of the best in all of sports. It’ll be a primetime game against two classic teams.

I anticipate the Chiefs coming out of this game with a loss, but they should be able to make it closer than people think.
