KC Chiefs: Five Things Learned Vs Texans

Week 1 was a great start to the season for the Chiefs, with lots of things to be happy about.
The offense was firing on all cylinders, and Alex Smith looked poised as can be. If the KC Chiefs can tune-up the offensive line and allow Charles to run through the gaps, they will quickly become a dual-threat offense.
The defense remains largely intact this year, and we know exactly what we are going to get. A strong defensive front that is able to stop the run, and a set of young corners that will waver at times, but should develop into solid pass defenders throughout the year.
Fans have plenty of reasons to be excited this year, and it feels like a return to the playoffs is imminent. The Chiefs haven’t won a playoff game in 20 years, and there’s a real possibility of breaking that streak this year.
