While this year’s fantasy football rookie class may not be super deep in terms of position players, each one has the potential to have an immediate impact for their team, which is what fantasy players want.
I know this list was wide receiver heavy, but they are all projected first-string players, which is what you want in a rookie player. It’s not often that rookies see the field right away, but I guess that’s what being really good does for you.
Of course, if you have the option, I would always preference a veteran over a rookie. While all of these guys did great things in college, that doesn’t always transcend to NFL success. Nonetheless, they are good options if you really like the idea of winning with rookies.
Things to keep in mind with rookies is that it might take a few games for them to get adjusted to the NFL. Be patient with them, as it might pay off in the long run.
If you stick with some of these guys, it might pay off in a big way down the stretch. Who knows? It might even win you a championship in your league.
