There you have it. All 32 spots of Ron Jaworksi’s quarterback rankings and my thoughts on them. Obviously this is a Kansas City blog so I’m going to be a little biased towards my guy Alex Smith, but I think his ranking is just about right.

Smith doesn’t do anything to blow anyone away, but he doesn’t lose the Chiefs games, and that’s a big thing in this league. He might not air it out all day every day like a lot of the guys in the top ten do, but he’s still a good quarterback and has led the Chiefs to back to back winning seasons.

Hopefully this is the season in which Alex Smith can prove the haters wrong and lead the Kansas City Chiefs to their first playoff win since 1993.

As for the rest of the rankings, I agree for the most part. Rookies are easily at the bottom of the list and you have the “middle tier” guys like Tannehill and Dalton right where they belong, but the top ten could be jumbled a bit for me. Romo should be switched with Flacco in my opinion.

What do you think of Jaws’ QB countdown rankings?
