Good fantasy football tight ends can be big components to a successful roster.
The reality is, there’s just no sure thing when it comes to tight ends in 2015.
Gronk is injury-prone, Graham and Thomas are going to be adjusting to new offenses, and we’re dealing with a small sample size for Kelce. The volume of potential fantasy options is huge though.
Besides the 15 players listed here, guys like Dwayne Allen, Larry Donnell, Heath Miller, Vernon Davis, Kyle Rudolph (and on and on…) could end up as top 15, or even top 10 fantasy tight ends this year. There’s just too much uncertainty right now before the season begins to know for sure.
Regardless of who your top tight end is this year, be sure to grab an extra one – injuries are sure to come, and there are plenty of options to go around. A solid tight end is great, but you never know when you might need a backup one… Plus, there’s always those pesky bye weeks.
