  • I, for one, am excited to see how Alex Smith performs with new weapons to throw to (Maclin) and an improved offensive line protecting him up front. The excuses are dwindling for the former first overall pick, and it’s time for him to step up and show the fans that he can carry this team to the postseason.

Overall though, expect to see these Chiefs players making an impact for the team early on into the season. From Thomas’ punt returns to Kelce’s catch and runs, the Kansas City Chiefs look poised to make a run at the AFC West division title in 2015.

The Chiefs are poised to make another playoff run this year, as John Dorsey and Andy Reid continue to do what’s right for this team. Chiefs fans haven’t had a reason to be excited for football season in a long time, but this year, they do.
