The 2014 season was an exciting one for the Kansas City Chiefs that saw them going 9-7 and barely missing out on the postseason. The season started off bleak with a terrible loss to the Tennessee Titans in week one, and going 0-2 in the first two games.

Despite the ugly start, the Chiefs went on to have a five-game win streak at one point, and three of those five were against solid opponents. Finishing with only nine wins and missing the playoffs kind of sucked, but it was still an exciting season in Kansas City.

Some close calls for this list were the games against Miami and St. Louis. Miami because the Chiefs were locked in a close battle before breaking away in the second half to get their first win of the season, and St. Louis because it was a blowout win over a St. Louis team. That’s always fun, right?

The Chiefs had a difficult schedule last season and their schedule this upcoming season won’t be any easier. The Chiefs will start their season with games against the Texans, Broncos, Packers, and Bengals, three of which went into the postseason last year (and the one who didn’t barely missed out, just like Kansas City did).

It should be a fun season for the Kansas City Chiefs though, and hopefully it’ll be the year that they finally win a playoff game for the first time since 1994.
