Every team’s fan base is going to claim their’s is the best, especially that other team in Missouri. However, no team in professional sports had the pent-up anger of Royals’ fans last season after suppressing 29 years worth of no postseason play.

The fans came out with a vengeance last October and helped carried the team to the Series. Oakland outfielder Sam Fuld basically said without the noise of Royals fans last season during the Wild Card game, the A’s probably would have won.

They are showing their support again this year, arriving in droves to the ballpark each day and night this season. Kansas City is 9th in average attendance (31,815/game), one spot behind Detroit. However, the Tigers only fill 77.5 percent of their stadium, while the Royals sit at 83.9 percent of capacity.

It also helps when you have funnymen Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Rob Riggle and Eric Stonestreet promoting your team during various entertainment appearances.

The every day Royal fan though is doing everything he or she can to help will the team to victory.

So far, it’s working to the tune of first place.
