The 2013 NFL Draft was so bad that no one really knew who the KC Chiefs were going to take come draft day. It was a toss up between Eric Fisher and Luke Joeckel, another offensive tackle.

Fisher has struggled during his first two years in the league and it’s safe to say that this upcoming season could be a do or die situation for him. If he doesn’t play well, it’ll be time to label him as a bust (at least in Kansas City) and move on.
Fisher’s struggles his rookie year were justifiable, as he was moved to the right side (he played left tackle in college) and only just moved back to the left side last season. He had injury problems during his first year in the league as well.
Fisher certainly showed improvements during his sophomore season in the NFL, but fans won’t tolerate another mediocre season from the former Chippewa. Step it up Fish.
