Kansas City Royals: Remembering the Greatest Baseball Game Ever

With Ned Yost vindicated, I thought maybe he was some kind of mad genius. After the Kansas City Royals came within 90-feet of tying game seven of the World Series, he basically deserves a free pass on anything. How could he not?
I wasn’t fortunate enough to attend any more postseason games, but from what I’m told from others who were, I witnessed the best one.
In the parking lot on the way out, it felt to me whatever happened after that game was gravy. Kansas City could be swept by the Angels and the season was still a magical one.
Of course, once they kept winning that thought was replaced with: World Series or Bust!
It didn’t quite work out that way, but this crazy, frustrating, amazing, wonderful game will be remembered forever.
