2015 NFL Mock Draft: KC Chiefs Looking For Balance

Personally, I’d prefer the Kansas City Chiefs go after an offensive lineman in the second round, but better late than never I guess. Laken Tomlinson certainly isn’t a bad pick and had a swell career while a member of the Duke Blue Devils.

Alex Smith took 45 sacks in 2014 and it was frustrating to watch him constantly under duress.
While the offensive line won’t get better immediately, drafting Tomlinson will add some insurance to a line that looked absolutely dreadful last season.
The KC Chiefs need a lot of help and upgrades on the offensive line, and it is doubtful they will be able to improve enough through free agency.
The Chiefs can’t afford to miss on Tomlinson, or any other offensive linemen they may select in the 2015 NFL Draft.
