4. Cliff Alexander will average a double-double from here on out

He’s only averaging 8.3 points and 5.8 rebounds, you say? Well, I say he’s only averaging 18.4 mins per game, and that’s while being in Self’s dog house (a place you don’t want to be), half of the time.

In the nine games he has played 20-plus minutes, his numbers are slightly up at 8.8 points, and 6.4 rebounds. But, it’s not like he was playing 35 minutes in those games either. The most he has played all season in one game is 26.

His 40-minute averages are 18 points, and 12.6 rebounds. After his 13-point, 13-rebound effort Monday night, it appears he could be  starting to hit his stride. Even if his minutes were bumped to 28 per game, he would average 12.6/8.8.

One would think as he progresses, so does his play, and if Self trusts “Big Cliff” to be on the court even just a little more than right now, 10 and 10 is not out of the question – in fact, it will happen.
