Madden is back in form after predicting that the Kansas City Chiefs would lose to the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football. Madden predicted that the game would be a blow out so lets see how well the numbers from the prediction actually stack up.
Final Score
Sim
Kansas City Chiefs – 10
Denver Broncos – 48
Reality
Kansas City Chiefs – 16
Denver Broncos – 29
The game never really felt as close as it really was. The sim score better reflects how I feel about the game than the actual final score does.

Madden was almost right on the total yardage numbers for the Broncos but predicted the Chiefs would get beat through the air instead of on the ground. The sim was also able to correctly predict that the Chiefs wouldn’t do themselves any favors when it came to turnovers committed by the Chiefs.

The individual player numbers tell the same story that the team statistics told. The Chiefs got torched by C.J. Anderson and Manning was efficient. Madden predicted the beat down but not the cause of it.
This game certainly could have easily been a lot worse if the Broncos were able to turn a few of those Connor Barth field goals into touchdowns. Much like the Raiders game the Chiefs need to put this game behind them and move on to a beat up Cardinals team.
