The Cowboys scored on their first possession of the game, which was probably scary for K-State fans. Fans didn’t have to panic long though, as Morgan Burns jumped started the Wildcat attack with an 86-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
Jake Waters, Curry Sexton, and Tyler Lockett did their usual work load for the Cats’ offense while Dante Barnett, Travis Britz, and Jordon Willis took care of the Cowboy offense, who once again struggled all night long. The defense did allow Tyreek Hill of Oklahoma State just over 100 yards rushing, but outside of him no one else did any damage.
The Kansas State Wildcats are now sitting in a prime position in the Big 12 conference and must prepare themselves for TCU this week under the lights. This game has a lot of implications for both teams especially for K-State.
Before the big game this Saturday night in Fort Worth, here’s a summary of what took place in K-State’s win over Oklahoma State.

Good: It really just about clicked on both sides of the ball for the Kansas State Wildcats in this one. Looking at two players for this team offensively Tyler Lockett and Curry Sexton. If Jake Waters can get the ball to the 1-2c punch then this team can go far. If not, the Wildcats tend to struggle a little bit.
For now, these 3 players are doing whatever is necessary to win. Waters, Lockett, and Sexton are becoming a dangerous trio and K-State is going to need them down the stretch run.
Bad: What didn’t look good for the Cats is on the very first possession game defensively, Kansas State gave up an 8 minute play drive for 84 yards, which ended in a Tyreek Hill 2 yard touchdown run. These next couple games will be against TCU and West Virginia on the road and the Wildcats cannot afford to allow the offenses of those teams to get in rhythm
. K-State has a big challenge ahead of them though, defensivly…but they have the ability to come up with the big play.
Ugly: 3 out of the next 4 opponents for the Wildcats are on the road and tough. TCU, West Virginia, and Baylor. The triple threat of teams will for sure decide K-State’s fate beginning with TCU. Last season, the Cats had there hard games early on, this time it’s on the back end.
