The 2014 NFL Draft is upon us. Thursday night, fans will find out who the newest Kansas City Chiefs player will be.

The staff of KC Kingdom has worked hard over the past several months and compiled over 70 scouting reports, try to cover all possibilities for the Chiefs first two or three picks in the draft.

We focused on the positions the thing the Chiefs need to address the most. The staff has worked so hard, maybe they even covered a few nuggets that may fall to to the KC Chiefs in later rounds.

The staff put together the reports, then we centralized links to each through grouping the reports by position. Here is a list of the articles which contain the scouting reports for all the players KC Kingdom scouted by their positions.

There are even some stray scouting reports on some a few running backs and tight ends sprinkled throughout the site.

We also have run 3 mock drafts using a simulator to pick for other teams based on team need and availability, then our own Josh Michaels made the selections for the Chiefs. It is interesting to note how they changed from mock to mock, with several weeks between each.

Mock Draft one – 2/26/14

Mock Draft two – 4/7/14

Mock Draft three – 5/5/14

If you are the nostalgic type, we even have look at drafts past, including one of the greatest drafts by any team ever. Check out some of our recent drafts, and you can see why the KC Chiefs have had problems becoming a consistent winner. Here are some links to like at past drafts – 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004.

Don’t miss the excellent recap of the 1963 draft for the Kansas City Chiefs – it has to rank among one of the all-time greatest for any team.

…the Chiefs had one of the great all-time drafts in NFL history. Their draft  included 2 Hall-of-Fame players, 5 players who made at least one first-team all-pro team, and an astounding 8 players who started 7 years or more in professional football. Five players from the 1963 class have been inducted to the Chiefs Hall-of-Fame.
