On Wednesday morning, Chiefs fans woke up to some great news. Kansas City acquired five-time Pro Bowler DeAndre Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a 5th rounder that can go up to a fourth-rounder.

After the Chiefs lost countless receivers already this season, the need for a playmaker was clear. GM Brett Veach finally pulled the trigger, giving Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid another weapon.

While people are thrilled to see this move, Tyreek Hill posted a cryptic tweet on Wednesday.

NFL News: Tyreek Hill Post Strange Tweet

On his X/Twitter account, Hill tweeted "hm." His replies are filled with fans saying he misses Kansas City and should come back.

While he won't be getting traded to Kansas City, he has to miss being with Mahomes. It's been a rough 2024 season for Hill. Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion on Sept. 12 against the Buffalo Bills. He was placed on IR, missing the following four games.

Hill has struggled to get much production lately, logging 14 receptions (24 targets) for just 140 receiving yards and zero touchdowns. He's been a non-factor in the offense, which has to be frustrating. Last season, Hill had 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in Miami.

Having his numbers take a massive hit doesn't feel good, especially when you're losing, since Miami is 2-4. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are 6-0 despite having a litany of injuries at wide receiver. They just know how to win, as they seek their third straight Super Bowl.

Hill has to be feeling it, and the addition of Hopkins may have pushed him down memory lane.
