The Kansas City Chiefs are one win away from their third consecutive Super Bowl, taking on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. This roster's core was built in large part thanks to the returns from the blockbuster Tyreek Hill trade. That said, Hill hasn't experienced any playoff success since joining the Miami Dolphins.

As a result, Hill's discontent with the Dolphins organization and potential regret for his role in the trade are beginning to show. Following the Dolphins Week 18 game made it clear he was contemplating requesting a trade this offseason. Since then, Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has claimed Hill is committed to the Dolphins.

Yet, Hill's numerous social media posts have given fans the feeling he misses his old teammates. On Friday, Hill confirmed these suspicions during an interview with Pro Football Talk's Chirs Simms. Hill told Simms that he always has thoughts that maybe he shouldn’t have left Kansas City.

Tyreek Hill Admits That He Regrets Leaving Kansas City

Hill's regret for leaving Kansas City is well deserved. Since Hill's departure at the end of the 2021 season., the Chiefs have reached three straight Super Bowls.

Hill, on the other hand, has continued to cement himself as one of the league's best receivers. In 2022 and 2023 Hill recorded over 1,700 yards receiving. Moreover, in those two seasons, Hill combined for 20 touchdowns.

Unfortunately, Hill had a rough 2024 season, recording only 959 yards on 81 catches while scoring six touchdowns. Hill's dip in production in 2024, paired with the Dolphin's lack of playoff success during his tenure, is what caused his outburst following Miami's season finale.

Despite all the success the Hill trade brought to Kansas City, fans still wonder how good the Chiefs offense would have remained if Hill stayed. Nevertheless, Hill's regret about leaving Kansas City for money may never fully go away, even if he does return to the Chiefs before the end of his career.
