Travis Kelce Makes Shocking Reveal About Chiefs' Game-Winning FG Block
By Joe Summers
The Chiefs recognize how special the epic blocked field goal was to beat the Broncos in Week 10. They seemingly broke Denver's spirit, and now Travis Kelce made a surprise reveal about the magical moment.
In the latest episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason, Travis noted he didn't remember a time at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium that resulted in that kind of pandemonium.
Leo Chenal was the hero, though the fans' celebration may have been the best part of the day.
Travis Kelce Makes Bold Declaration About Chiefs' Win Over Broncos
After Jason noted that the place erupted at the block, Travis had a NSFW explanation of what Chiefs fans were able to achieve.
"I don't think I had been a part of the stadium where it went f------ a------ like that," Kelce said. "It got to the point...my eyes started watering and I was getting goosebumps because...this is insane."
Travis has been part of many, many incredible moments on that field. He's won AFC Championships there, been part of narrow victories, and danced his way into the end zone countless times with the roar of the fans surrounding him.
Despite all of that, Sunday's celebration may rank at the top. For an undefeated team to stare defeat in the face and emerge victorious like that, it has to be remembered as an all-timer. Perhaps more than any other game this year, the victory showed how strong, tough, and resilient this team is.
They can win games in a variety of ways yet still somehow come up with surprises. The vibes could not be higher in Kansas City heading into a critical Sunday showdown with the Buffalo Bills.
Hopefully, the Chiefs won't need a last-second miracle to win this week. Either way, it's obvious that Week 10 game will be remembered as one of the highlights of the 2024 season.
