Tyreek Hill Chimes in on Travis Kelce’s New Chiefs Deal
With the 2024 NFL Draft officially wrapped up, teams are fully looking towards next season. Everyone around the league is trying to catch up to the Kansas City Chiefs.
They won two straight Super Bowl titles and are aiming for their third. This offseason they were able to bring back key contributors like Chris Jones, Mike Danna, and Drue Tranquill. They also signed WR Marquise Brown and drafted WR Xavier Worthy in the first round.
On April 29, they inked Travis Kelce to a two-year extension that makes him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.
That is a major move and former Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill responded to the news on Twitter.
Chiefs News: Tyreek Hill Showed Love to Travis Kelce
Hill went on Twitter and said, "The greatest" in regards to Kelce's new deal.
Hill and Kelce were teammates in Kansas City from 2016-2021, forming one of the most dangerous duos in the league.
To Hill's point, the nine-time Pro Bowler has been one of the best playmakers at his position.
In his 11-year career with the Chiefs, Kelce has recorded 907 catches for 11,328 receiving yards, and 74 touchdowns.
To add more accolades to his already stacked resume, Kelce is the best tight end in NFL playoff history. He's the all-time leader in targets (203), receptions (165), receiving yards (1,903), and receiving touchdowns (19) among tight ends.
Hill's sentiment will be agreed all across Kansas City. Kelce has been unstoppable in Chiefs uniform. The combination between Mahomes and Kelce is superb and Kansas City fans can see it for at least two more years.
