Rest easy, Chiefs fans, because Travis Kelce has no plans to retire this offseason.

Following rampant speculation that the Chiefs' superstar tight end would call it quits after a statistically underwhelming season, relative to his standards at least, Kelce cleared things up with the media on Thursday afternoon.

Kelce made it emphatically clear that he has no intention to retire anytime soon. Thank goodness.

Chiefs News: Travis Kelce Denies Retirement Rumors

Kelce is, of course, one of the greatest Chiefs players to ever live and synonymous with this golden era of football in Kansas City.

Throughout his incredible career, Kelce has 907 catches for 11,328 yards and 74 TDs. He's got a chance to add to his legacy this postseason, with many in the public counting the Chiefs out after a disappointing offensive campaign.

Personally, I've got a lot of faith in this squad. I believe the Chiefs will win the Super Bowl and that Kelce will be a main reason why.

I've spent the week terrified that each game could be Kelce's last. It's almost impossible to imagine the Chiefs without him, and I'm grateful he seems committed to the organization for at least one more year.
