The Chiefs are not only the most successful NFL franchise over the last half-decade, but they're also the most feared.

In a stunning report issued following the Bills' trade of Stefon Diggs to AFC contender Houston, Buffalo allegedly allowed the star WR to seek a trade from every team in the league except the Chiefs.

That's right, Kansas City was off-limits as Diggs tried to find a new home.

Bills Reportedly Banned Chiefs From Potential Stefon Diggs Trade

Perhaps the worst-kept secret around the NFL is how much teams loathe trading with the Chiefs. Kansas City famously swindled Buffalo in the trade that landed three-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and also jumped in front of the Bills to land All-Pro CB Trent McDuffie.

Brett Veach is one of the best general managers in the business and it sounds like Buffalo was too scared to even consider sending an All-Pro WR to the Chiefs.

Frankly, it's hard to blame them. Kansas City is a perfect 3-0 in the playoffs against Buffalo in the Mahomes era, and I wouldn't want to give the Chiefs any more ammunition either.

Instead, the Bills bizarely chose to send Diggs to another AFC contender and one that certainly looks stronger than Buffalo does right now. C.J. Stroud is a fantastic QB in his own right, after all. If i were the Bills, I would've traded Diggs to the AFC and this may be the latest in a long list of examples of failed trades from Buffalo's front office.

No matter what happens next season, we can all sit back and have a laugh that the Bills were literally too scared of the Chiefs to even consider negotiating with them.
