The Chiefs have officially ended the Bills' championshp window, as Buffalo waved the white flag with a stunning trade announced on Wednesday.

Stefon Diggs has reportedly been traded to the Houston Texans for a second-round NFL Draft pick. It's a shocking move that instantly elevates Houston to the top of the AFC with Kansas City and downgrades Buffalo's chances to compete.

While there were numerous reports that Diggs was unhappy in Buffalo, Josh Allen now has Curtis Samuel and Khalil Shakur as his top wide receivers after falling short with one of the NFL's best weapons.

Bills Waive White Flag by Trading Stefon Diggs

Diggs has six consecutive seasons with 1,000+ yards and gives the Texans one of the league's best wide receiving groups alongside Nico Collins and Tank Dell. Houston will be a problem moving forward and their Super Bowl odds have already moved from +2000 to +1300 at FanDuel.

That concern can be for another day though. Today, we celebrate the downfall of the Buffalo Bills. Their fanbase attacked and ridiculed Chiefs Kingdom, while Chiefs fans rallied around much-maligned kicker Tyler Bass and his charity following his missed game-tying field goal in the playoffs.

Buffalo has the least draft capital in the NFL, shed a bunch of contracts in the offseason and now unloaded their best offensive playmaker. Josh Allen will have to do this alone. If he couldn't beat Kansas City when he had help, what makes you think he can now?

The AFC is still the Chiefs' to lose. Buffalo has nothing to show for the last half-decade besides a series of playoff losses, while Kansas City is over here enjoying the spoils of three Super Bowl championships.
