The Kansas City Chiefs finally improved their wide receiver corps this offseason by drafting Xavier Worthy and signing Hollywood Brown in free agency. Now, Patrick Mahomes has much better options as the Chiefs attempt to complete a historic three-peat this season.

However, Chiefs fans aren't done dreaming about roster improvements. Social media activity involving Brown and an All-Pro wide receiver got the fans buzzing on Friday.

The Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb took his social media beef with Dallas to the next level. The 25-year-old receiver removed all mention of the Cowboys from his social media profile and changed his header to a photo with former Oklahoma teammate Hollywood Brown.

CeeDee Lamb and Hollywood Brown Hint At A Potential Reunion

It turns out, that Brown also has a photo of him and Lamb as his header on X. Lamb putting a similar photo after removing the phrase, "America's Team" from his bio understandably caused an uproar on social media.

As of now, there is no trade demand from Lamb. The Cowboys' top brass have made no indication that they are willing to move the three-time Pro Bowler. However, Lamb is currently in the middle of a contract holdout and is asking to be the highest-paid wide receiver in the league. Jerry Jones has been playing hardball with him so far but it doesn't look like Lamb is going to back down any time soon.

Even if Lamb specifically requested a trade and wanted to go to Kansas City, a potential deal would be complicated. It would likely have to include at least one first-round pick plus additional draft capital. As a team that is trying to compete for a Super Bowl, the Cowboys would presumably ask for an NFL-ready contributor in return. Rashee Rice could be an intriguing option there.

It is still too early to have these discussions. For now, it's fun to imagine Mahomes throwing to CeeDee Lamb.
