The ongoing legal situation involving Chiefs WR Rashee Rice continued on Wednesday as Dallas, Texas, police reportedly issued an arrest warrant for the young receiver.

Rice has admitted to driving the Lamborghini involved in the crash, though his exact punishment and charges were unclear based on the information previously reported.

WFAA in Dallas received a copy of the police report, noting that Rice faces eight total charges related to the six-vehicle crash that injured four people.

According to WFAA, "Rice, 23, now faces eight charges in the case -- six counts of collision involving bodily injury, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury and one count of aggravated assault, according to the arrest warrant."

It's notable that at this point, the charges do not include anything for street racing, which could have involved potential jail time.

Rice has an opportunity to turn himself in though it's unknown when Rice will be taken into custody. He's posted an apology on social media taking responsibility, but he has not yet spoken publicly about the incident.

The driver of the Corvette, which Rice owns, also faces the same charges though none have been filed against the passengers of the vehicles.

This is a developing story and we'll pass along updates as soon as they become available.
