9. OG Trey Smith — 2021 Round 6, Pick 226

He might not have the individual accolades to show it, but Trey Smith has quietly become one of the league's better offensive guards over the last three seasons.

Selected with the No. 226 pick in 2021, Smith has been crucial to the Chiefs having one of the NFL's best offensive lines. The former Tennessee blocker is coming off an impressive 2023 season that saw him finish with 76.2 run-block and 68.1 pass-block grades on Pro Football Focus. His 74.6 overall offense grade ranked 10th-best among eligible guards, marking the third consecutive season he finished 15th or better.

It isn't hard at all to see Smith's impact on the run game. Since the ex-Volunteer made his way to Kansas City, the Chiefs have ranked 7th, 8th, and T-8th in yards per carry. He's also been efficient at protecting Patrick Mahomes, allowing just four sacks over the last two years.

Considering how he only turns 25 years old in June, there's a decent chance that we haven't even seen Smith's best yet. Assuming that he does continue to improve, he should remain one of the NFL's premiere offensive linemen.
