Patrick Mahomes Regrets Post-Game Behavior & Comments to Josh Allen
By Joe Summers
In his first public comments following yesterday's outrage about the referees' actions in the waning moments of the Chiefs' loss to the Bills, Patrick Mahomes regretted his actions.
Appearing on The Drive with Carrington Harrison of 610 Sports Radio, Mahomes reiterated how much he cares about his team and the game, but wished he would've handled himself differently, specifically to Bills' QB Josh Allen.
See what he had to say below.

"Obviously you don't want to react that way," Mahomes told Harrison. "I care man. I love this game, I love my teammates and I want to put everything on the line to win."
Mahomes was the most visibly frustrated we've seen him, admitting "you can't be that way towards officials, or really anybody in life."
All that said, Mahomes' greatest regret was his comments towards Josh Allen. In the postgame, Mahomes further declared his anger and let Josh Allen know he didn't approve of the penalty. In fairness, the Chiefs' two-time Super Bowl MVP is correct in his assessment.
"More than anything," noted Mahomes. "I regretted the way I acted towards Josh after the game because he had nothing to do with it...I was still hot and emotional, but you can't do that man. It's not a great example for kids watching the game."
Bravo to Mahomes for owning up to his mistakes, and here's hoping the referees can do the same.
