The Chiefs suffered a gut-wrenching 20-17 defeat to the Bills on Sunday as the offense once again fell short late in a winnable game.
Tensions are mounting and Patrick Mahomes appeared furious following the loss, shouting on the sideline and displaying outward behavior atypical from his calm demeanor.

Patrick Mahomes is Furious After Loss to Bills
The broadcast seemed to believe Mahomes was yelling at the referees, which would make sense given the abundance of poor calls that seemed to go against the Chiefs.
There were several surprising holds against the Chiefs and missed calls in the Bills favor, including multiple times when Buffalo's tackles seemed to commit false start penalties.
Additionally, a magnificent TD was called back just a few plays prior to Mahomes' outburst, during which Travis Kelce flung a lateral back to Kadarius Toney, who raced into the end zone. Alas, Toney lined up in the neutral zone.
This is a frustrating loss for the Chiefs and they'll need to get things corrected. Mahomes has always handled losses with grace, but it's clear there's a mounting problem that needs to be addressed.
The Chiefs still control the AFC West, though it's more difficult to imagine a path to the No. 1 seed with this loss. They'll need to bounce back against the Patriots in Week 15 to maintain any hope.
