The Kansas City Chiefs started their training camp at Missouri Western State University on Tuesday with rookies and quarterbacks reporting. The rest of the training camp roster will report on Friday as Andy Reid & Co. get the team ready for the historic three-peat attempt.

Entering his eighth training camp with the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes is no stranger to the grueling offseason schedule. Like every high-level athlete, he follows his routine and camp regimen. However, according to Chiefs insider Pete Sweeney, the three-time Super Bowl champ is making a small change to his training camp habits.

For the first time in eight years, Mahomes has brought a television with him so that he can watch the Paris Olympics and play EA Sports College Football 25.

As if Chiefs fans needed any more reasons to love their QB, Mahomes does the most relatable thing possible. At the end of the day, he is just like the rest of us, preparing to spend the rest of his summer watching sports and playing video games.

Kansas City will have its first full team practice on Sunday, July 21, and wrap up training camp on August 15. They will play their first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 10. The Chiefs will play two more preseason games against the Lions and the Bears before officially opening the NFL regular season against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5.

Paris Olympics will begin on Friday, July 26, and conclude on August 11. Let's hope Mahomes provides us with valuable commentary on some of the sports he will be watching.
