Newest Chiefs Free Agent Already Showing Taylor Swift Love
By Joe Summers

The Chiefs have found some exciting developmental players in the undrafted free agent pool over the last few days, and one recent signee is doing everything in his power to ingratiate himself to Kansas City's fanbase and most notably, the Swifties.
6'4" CB Miles Battle, who ran an impressive 4.37 40-yard dash, gave Taylor Swift a nod on social media when announcing he'd been signed by the Chiefs.
If you want to make this fanbase love you, there are certainly worse strategies to employ.

Battle was a starter for two years at Mississippi before transferring to Utah for his final collegiate season, compiling 98 tackles, 19 deflected passes and three interceptions in his career.
He's one of the most athletic CB prospects in recent memory, a willing tackler and with a similar athletic profile to former Chiefs' star L'Jarius Sneed.
Miles Battle. 6β3 cornerback, wow.

Need to dive deeper into him but an interesting pickup for the Kansas City Chiefs. https://t.co/IPaR525GeJ pic.twitter.com/XjGfzpxCOh
All things considered, Battle represents the exact kind of prospect that Steve Spagnuolo and Kansas City have turned into reliable contributors over the last half-decade.
Considering Travis Kelce just signed an extension to stick around for the next couple of seasons, Battle is smart to play into the Taylor Swift narrative surrounding the team. I'll take a chance on a smart, athletic, physical cornerback every day of the week, so I'm excited to see if he's able to find a role on the Chiefs' roster or practice squad.
Kansas City's front office and coaching staff have an archetype they covet in the secondary. Battle fits that mold perfectly and he's a player who could turn some heads over the coming months.
