New Rashee Rice Report Forecasts More Trouble for Chiefs WR
By Joe Summers
We've been getting reports on Rashee Rice's ongoing legal situation all day, ranging from the Chiefs' front office's first public comments to a statement released by Rice's attorney and more.
Now, an attorney representing The Classic Lifestyle, the company who rented the Lamborghini involved in the crash, claims that Rice was the only person licensed to drive the vehicle.
This would make Rice responsible for both the Lamborghini and his own Corvette, also involved in the six-vehicle crash.

It's still unclear whether Rice was physically in either car during the accident or if he was among the individuals who allegedly fled the scene.
However, this would still put responsibility at Rice's feet if accurate, especially if he was the only person allowed to operate the rented Lamborghini. The people who suffered minor injuries are expected to be okay, though there is still a legal matter to be settled.
Rice's statement released through his attorney maintained that he is cooperating with law enforcement, though not much information is available otherwise. Neither the Chiefs nor NFL have released official statements, but team president Mark Donovan told KCMO Talk Radio that the Chiefs were gathering information and would take the appropriate action.
As more news breaks regarding this developing story, we'll keep you updated on the latest and what it could mean for Rice's future in Kansas City.
