Freelance reporter Michelle Tafoya, formerly of NBC Sports, told CBS in a radio interview that she expects Travis Kelce to retire this offseason alongside his brother, Jason.

Take this report with a giant grain of salt, as Travis already confirmed that he does not intend to retire this offseason, but it's certainly nerve-wracking news for Chiefs Kingdom to hear.

Here's what Tafoya had to say:

Michelle Tafoya Claims Travis Kelce Will Retire

She claims that the Kelce brothers could ride off into the sunset together and start a broadcast similar to the Manningcast on ESPN2, which is beloved by fans.

Personally, I see this as someone trying to garner attention on a nonsensical report, though it's certainly possible Travis ultimately decides to hang it up after the season.

He's in line for a monster game against the Bills and that's certainly his focus, so it's bizarre timing for a report of this nature.

We'll see what comes of the offseason, but I personally believe Travis will remain in a Chiefs uniform for at least one more year.
