L'Jarius Sneed Wanted for Questioning in the Disappearance of Tyreek Hill
By Joe Summers
Just like he's done every single game this year, L'Jarius Sneed caused the opposing team's No. 1 wide receiver to completely disappear.
Sure, Tyreek Hill scored a long TD on a hospital ball from Tua Tagovailoa, whose struggles deserve a spotlight, but Sneed held Hill to a pedestrian game on the biggest stage in the sport.
Tyreek has been a great sport about Sneed's physicality, but make no mistake: this was a masterclass from the best cornerback in the NFL.
L'Jarius Sneed Wanted for the Disappearance of Tyreek Hill
Sneed told no lies. It certainly appeared he knew the Cheetah's weakness, and his constant pressure allowed the Chiefs' defense to limit the mighty Dolphins to just seven points.
From Tyreek to DJ Moore to Justin Jefferson to Ja'Marr Chase and on and on, Sneed has consistently drawn the opposing top receiver and performed exceptionally every single week.
For my money, Sneed has been the best player on the defense this year. He's an integral part of the team and I'm hopeful he'll get the contract extension he deserves this offseason.
It's hard to imagine this roster without #38 - fingers crossed we'll never have to.
