All eyes in Chiefs Kingdom are firmly on L'Jarius Sneed's impending trade and contract negotiations, though recent comments from the star cornerback imply his exit may not be as inevitable as previously understood.
Kansas City is still shopping the former fourth-round pick, but it sounds like Sneed wants to stay with the franchise that drafted him.
During a charity event, partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City, Sneed expressed his desire to stick around with the Chiefs as the organization hopes to win a third consecutive Super Bowl.
L'Jarius Sneed Comments on Potential Chiefs Future

Sneed wasn't shy about wanting to be in Kansas City. “Two is legendary, but three? You never get tired of getting rings,” Sneed reportedly said. “Hopefully I’m with the Chiefs. Hopefully I’m still here and we can go back and repeat.”
It's no secret that the Chiefs are better off with Sneed than without him. He routinely shadowed the best wide receivers on opposing teams, freeing up All-Pro Trent McDuffie to ball-hawk and compile five forced fumbles in a breakout season.
As we get set to hear from Chris Jones .. L’Jarius Sneed earlier today at Big Brothers Big Sisters mentioned life is a bit stressful right now, but, regarding free agency: “Hopefully I’m still with the #Chiefs Hopefully I’m still here.” pic.twitter.com/85Yll8ksvW

Even in that role, he showcased an elite ability to create game-changing plays on his own, notably punching the ball from Zay Flowers' grasp in the AFC Championship game to flip the script as the Ravens were lurking.
We'll see what comes of Sneed's ongoing negotiations, though it's a blessing to see he still wants to be here. If the Chiefs keep Sneed and Chris Jones, suddenly a real possibility because of Jones' team-friendly cap hit in the first year? Look out, NFL.
The Chiefs are listed at +650 to win the Super Bowl at BetMGM, a disrespectful line in my opinion given the successful free agency period to this point. This might be the perfect time to place a wager on Kansas City, because these odds won't last if Sneed sticks around.
