The Kansas Jayhawks defeated UNLV in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl on Tuesday, but the best news of the day came shortly before the game.
Star running back Devin Neal, considered one of the top running back draft prospects, reportedly told the coaching staff he would return in 2024.
Considering the Jayhawks already have QB Jalon Daniels returning, Neal's commitment means Kansas should once again have one of the very best offenses in all of college football.

In his third year in Lawrence, Neal put up 1,497 total yards this season with 17 TDs, combining with Daniel Hishaw Jr. to form one of the most dynamic backfields in the country.
Kansas is projected to return nine offensive starters, with receivers Lawrence Arnold, Luke Grimm and Quentin Skinner coming back as well.
This unit should be one of the most dangerous around and the Jayhawks will likely be a trendy pick to compete in the Big 12 conference race next season.
Something special is brewing in Lawrence. Thanks to this massive news, Neal will enter next year as one of the most accomplished and exciting players in the country.
