The Kansas football revolution is just getting started.

Preseason Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year Jalon Daniels has played in just three games this year due to injury, but he took to social media today to announce his intentions for next season.

Rock Chalk, baby. Jalon is coming back!

Kansas Football Gets Incredible News on Star QB Returning

Despite speculation that Daniels would leave Kansas, he's officially coming back next season to lead the Jayhawks.

Daniels had 2,014 passing yards with 18 TDs and just four interceptions last season, adding 419 yards and seven more TDs on the ground. He's one of the most dynamic QBs in the country and might be the single-most important player on the roster, even if he hasn't played much this year.

This statement should delight Kansas fans:

Kansas has plenty of QB issues this year, all due to injuries, though the team sits at 7-3 just outside of the top 25 ranked programs in the country.

With Daniels coming back, the Jayhawks should enter next season as a potential ranked team and will be poised to compete for a Big 12 title.

It's a beautiful day to be a Jayhawk, indeed.
