5. The "You Belong With Me" Chiefs Player of the Year - L'Jarius Sneed, CB

I entered the season expecting the Chiefs to part ways with Sneed after the year, with McDuffie's emergence and Sneed's impending contract negotiations.

Now? Resigning Sneed is my biggest priority for the defense. He's been one of the very best defensive players in the NFL, smothering opposing receivers every single week.

After all, I confidently predicted a poor game from Tyreek Hill because of Sneed and was proven correct! That says it all.

Sneed is allowing a passer rating of just 59.1 when targeted in coverage while displaying his normal versatile skills, notching 42 tackles, three pressures, three QB knockdowns, a fumble recovery and an interception.

I was wrong, L'Jarius. You belong with me. You belong with us.

You belong with the Chiefs.
