The Kansas City Chiefs officially have training camp underway as they start preparing for the 2024 season.

They have been at Missouri Western State University since July 20 and the reports have been flying out left and right. Certain players are starting to impress on a consistent basis while others are seemingly falling down the depth chart.

One player who has emerged at camp is running back Deneric Prince. He's been getting a lot of second-team reps behind Isiah Pacheco, which has raised some questions about Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

The 25-year-old tailback went on X and revealed why he's been missing practice recently.

Chiefs News: Clyde Edwards-Helaire Reveals He Has PTSD

In a tweet posted on July 29, Edwards-Helaire said he has been dealing with PTSD and the Chiefs are helping him get through it.

"Living With PTSD is no small feat, its hard and very overwhelming . Within the last month Ive Had many flare ups and the Amazing staff here at the #Chiefs have been helping me get through some tough times.
I’ll be back rolling next Practice! All Love , Glydro"

That is something that is tough to hear and certainly takes precedence over football. This is just a game that we love to watch but the health of a player is what matters.

He said at the end of the tweet that he'll be back at the next practice which is a great sign. The LSU product has been with the Chiefs for the past four years since being selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Louisiana native has tallied 1,845 rushing yards, 765 receiving yards, and 19 total touchdowns.

We hope that Edwards-Helaire can get back to 100% and help the Chiefs chase their third straight Super Bowl.
