Chris Jones Has Massive Contract Incentive in Week 18

The Chiefs take on the Chargers in a meaningless Week 18 contest Sunday. Well, meaningless for some.
Chris Jones has 9.5 sacks on the season, just a half sack shy of a $1.25 million incentive. It's unclear if he'll play today, though all signs indicate he'll at least get an opportunity to cash in.
He won't reach the incentives for getting 15 sacks, barring a miracle, though Jones can still secure himself a nice payday to end the regular season.

Chiefs DT Chris Jones has one of the largest incentives on the line of any player today: with just half a sack, Jones would reach 10.0 for the season and earn $1.25M.

Given Andy Reid ruled out Patrick Mahomes and several other players this week but did not put Jones on the injury report, it seems the Chiefs' defensive anchor will be on the field this afternoon.
For the season, Jones has 29 tackles, 9.5 sacks and four deflected passes. He's routinely double-teamed and that extra attention he demands allows teammates like George Karlaftis and Mike Danna to face easier assignments.
Jones makes everyone else's life easier, so he deserves a chance to get to double-digit sacks.
I wouldn't expect to see him on the field too much. Play the first quarter, get your $1.25 million and get onto the playoffs healthy. This could be Jones' final regular season game with the Chiefs, depending on what happens this offseason, and I expect him to get that 10th sack.
