The Kansas City Chiefs are the team to beat and they showcased that through the first two weeks of the season. Although they played the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals, the Chiefs have found a way to start off 2-0.

It's never easy to win a game in the NFL but the Chiefs make it seem like it.

Regardless of securing these wins, it hasn't been great news all around for the Chiefs. On Monday, it was announced that Isiah Pacheco fractured his fibula and is expected to miss six to eight weeks.

Now head coach Andy Reid revealed that he may be making a change along the offensive line in Week 3.

Chiefs News: Kingsley Suamataia Isn’t a Lock To Start Week 3

Reid said that he hasn't decided whether rookie tackle Kingsley Suamataia will be in the starting lineup against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.

Suamataia was selected in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft to help fortify the offensive line but it has been a struggle for him thus far. Over 108 offensive snaps, the BYU product has allowed five total pressures, two QB hits, and two sacks. He's also committed three penalties.

We know that rookies can go through a learning curve when they first get into the league but when you're protecting Patrick Mahomes' blind side, you have to be ready to ball.

And as of now, things have been a bit rocky for him. If the Chiefs were to bench Suamataia, Wanya Morris would likely take his place.

Morris was a third-round pick from the 2023 NFL Draft and has four career starts under his belt. He did play in seven snaps in the Week 2 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals but did commit a hands-to-the-face penalty.

If he can find a way to keep the penalties to a minimum, he may be a better option than Suamataia. It's never a bad idea to bench a rookie for a few games to let them watch the game from a different perspective and Kansas City may do that with Suamataia on Monday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons.

Regardless of what happens on the offensive line, the Chiefs are 4.5-point favorites on the road according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
