While Chiefs fans screamed for joy when Bills' kicker Tyler Bass missed a field goal to seal Kansas City's Divisional Round win over Buffalo, Bills fans weren't quite so jubiliant.

Bass has deactivated his social media accounts following death threats to his family, and now Chiefs Kingdom is showing its signature love and support by uplifting the Ten Lives Club, a Buffalo-based charity that supports stray cats in a variety of ways.

Donations are pouring in by the thousands, and it's a beautiful reminder that humanity can make a positive impact on important causes despite our differences in sports fandom.

Chiefs Fans Rally Around Tyler Bass and Ten Lives Club Charity

There have been over 2,000 individual donations since Chiefs fans first discovered the charity on Monday, with most donations being around $22 to honor Bass' #2 jersey.

From the Ten Lives Club website, the organization is a "non-kill, non-profit cat adoption group devoted to reducing the number of cats euthanized each year due to overpopulation and lack of space in shelters. Since our creation in 2001, TLC has saved the lives of or assisted over 40,000 cats through rescue, adoption, spay/neuter services or feral feeding assistance."

Donations are the lifeblood of the charity, with further provided information clarifying that it relies "solely on donations and constant fundraising to assist the hundreds of cats and kittens that pass through our care each year. Over 300 volunteers help to make our organization operate on a daily basis, helping in areas such as cleaning, adoptions, and fundraising."

While the sting from the loss will stick, this is another example of how Chiefs Kingdom can provide light and support during a trying time. With over $100,000 in donations reported, meaningful, significant impacts are being made.

I'm proud to be associated with this fanbase, and I'm hoping Bass and the Ten Lives Club can thrive thanks to the kind actions of fans all over the country.
