The Kansas City Chiefs started off the new season in style. They defended their home field and beat the Baltimore Ravens 27-20. Now, they are focused on the Cincinnati Bengals, who come to town on Sunday.

The Chiefs still managed to rack up 352 total yards of offense in the Week 1 win, but they were without wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown.

Brown has been sidelined since Aug. 10, when he went down with a sternoclavicular injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was expected to miss four-to-six weeks, but on Wednesday, head coach Andy Reid revealed why Brown is still not practicing.

Chiefs News: Andy Reid Discusses Hollywood Brown’s Shoulder Injury

When speaking to reporters, Reid said Brown's shoulder is healing, but it's not ready just yet.

"They all set a little different. It's something that has to move to get back into place... from what I understand. I'm not a physician by any means. You're talking just centimeters of it being off can be a problem. So you want to make sure those things are healed in and are in the right spot."

After these comments, you can assume that Brown won't be suiting up against the Bengals. He's been out for a month and will need a good week of practice to show himself and his coaches that he's ready to suit up.

Until then, the Oklahoma product will have to watch the show from the sideline. Thankfully, the Chiefs like a nice collection of weapons on offense that include Travis Kelce, Isiah Pacheco, Xavier Worthy, and Rashee Rice.

When Brown does return to action, he'll give the Chiefs another dynamic threat, who has 3,644 receiving yards and 28 touchdowns in his career.
