The Kansas City Chiefs are the team that everyone in the NFL is trying to catch up to, especially the Buffalo Bills.

Kansas City has their eyes set on winning their third straight Vince Lombardi Trophy and retooled the roster throughout the offseason.

They parted ways with veteran contributors while adding more talent in the NFL Draft. Now that we are sitting in May, the remaining free agents are looking to find a home for 2024 and the latest report reveals a former playoff hero for the Chiefs is going to visit the Buffalo Bills.

Chiefs News: Marquez Valdes-Scantling Is Visiting the Buffalo Bills

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Kansas City WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling is in Buffalo tonight and will meet with the Bills.

On Feb. 28, the Chiefs decided to release Valdes-Scantling, a move that saved the team $12 million against the salary cap.

He spent two seasons with the team, racking up 63 receptions for 1,002 receiving yards, and three touchdowns in the regular season. The former USF product had his fair share of struggles in Kansas City but came up big in the playoffs.

In seven career postseason games with Kansas City, he had 15 catches for 250 yards and three touchdowns, including 116 yards and one score in the 2023 AFC Championship Game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Chiefs have owned the Bills in the playoffs, going 3-0 since 2021. Just last season, the Chiefs traveled to Highmark Stadium and knocked off the Bills 27-24 in the Divisional Round. Patrick Mahomes and company seem to have Buffalo's number so them looking to bring in Valdes-Scantling will give the Chiefs faithful a nice chuckle.

The Bills shipped out Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in April and are looking to revamp their WR corp. Looking to add a former Chief will only add more fuel to an already intense rivalry.
