The Chiefs made a pair of moves Wednesday morning, signing TE Izaiah Gathings and WR Anthony Miller to the practice squad.

This move comes after Skyy Moore was placed on Injured Reserve this week, forcing some roster shuffling.

Find out who the Chiefs are adding and how they might fit the team below.

Chiefs Roster Update: Izaiah Gathings and Anthony Miller Join Team

The 6'7" Gathings played wide receiver in college but converted to tight end this year. He's an athletic red zone threat that could develop in a similar fashion to fan favorite Jody Fortson.

Miller was the Bears' second-round pick in 2018 though hasn't played since 2021. He has 140 career catches for 1,589 yards and 12 TDs.

It's likely that neither of these players will see meaningful time, yet it'll be intriguing to see if either can contribute down the line. I loved Miller's game coming out of college, but he was never able to stick in Chicago.

He spent time in Houston and Pittsburgh as well before finding himself out of the league. Whether he experiences a career revitalization or not, Kansas City is a fantastic organization to join.
