Several notable Chiefs players are not practicing Thursday, increasing the likelihood that Andy Reid and the coaching staff will rest a majority of the key guys in Week 18 against the Chargers.

We already know that Patrick Mahomes is out, but it looks like a few other guys will join him soon.

Surprisingly, Kadarius Toney is not practicing after being back yesterday, though Isiah Pacheco is back. Check out the latest updates below.

Chiefs Injury News: Several Players Still Missing Practice

Chris Jones, Donovan Smith, Trey Smith, Kadarius Toney, Rashee Rice and L'Jarius Sneed are all not practicing. Outside of Donovan Smith and perhaps Toney, I'd think the rest of those guys could play if this were a playoff game.

It's not, obviously, so the team should prioritize getting as many players to 100% as possible over the next couple of weeks.

Pacheco's return is a positive sign overall. He's been electric this season as the most consistent player of the offense and we'll need to lean on him to reach another Super Bowl.

The big question that remains is if Travis Kelce will play, needing just 16 yards to extend his 1,000-yard streak. I'd guess the team gives him a drive or two with Blaine Gabbert, then quickly get him on the sidelines with the rest of the star players.
