The Chiefs have a lengthy injury report going into the playoffs after suffering a couple of ailments on the offensive line in Week 18. However, the Dolphins make Kansas City look healthy as can be by comparison.

Two defensive starters were ruled out of the postseason for Miami on Monday, adding to a long list of injuries piling up for the Dolphins heading into Saturday's game.

With poor weather expected, the Chiefs certainly have an edge based on these reports.

Jerome Baker and Van Ginkel both served as starting linebackers for the Dolphins and they were already without quality offensive weapons like Raheem Mostert and Jaylen Waddle.

Miami is limping into the playoffs, by any definition of the phrase, and that gives the Chiefs a tremendous opportunity to establish the run game and lean on their defense.

We've yet to hear the status on the Chiefs' injured players like Wanya Morris, Donovan Smith and Kadarius Toney, but Kansas City is still the healthier team even if all three of those guys sit.

This could be the start of another special postseason, though fingers crossed everyone can stay healthy moving forward.
