Charles Omenihu Calls Out Doubters in Exciting Rehab Video
By Joe Summers
Charles Omenihu's rehab from a torn ACL seems to be progressing well and he shared a new video on social media to prove it.
He's hinted at a possible return date midseason, though his effectiveness and overall timeline is one of the biggest question marks for the Chiefs' defense as they try to complete the three-peat.
After compiling seven sacks in 11 games and making big plays in the playoffs prior to his injury, Omenihu enters a pivotal season as a free agent hoping to prove his injury won't have a lingering impact.

Omenihu missed the first six games of last year after being suspended as part of a domestic violence violation and was still a critical piece for the Chiefs. Now, he'll try to comeback from a devastating knee injury.
Still only 26 years old, Omenihu appeared to be a steal prior to his injury at the $16 million the Chiefs paid for two years. He only had 4.5 sacks in 17 games in 2022 with a crowded 49ers' defensive front but shined in Kansas City.
With Chris Jones, George Karlaftis, Mike Danna, a healthy Omenihu, and hopefully an emerging Felix Anudike-Uzomah, the Chiefs again have perhaps the most dominant defensive line provided everyone stays healthy. Getting Omenihu back will provide a huge boost, though the depth will hold things over in the meantime.
Mike Danna had 5.5 sacks in the first eight weeks of the season and will handle the bulk of the vacated work but 2023 first-round pick Anudike-Uzomah will be important as well.
We'll see what happens throughout the rest of the summer, yet I'm excited nonetheless about Omenihu's progress and hope his best football is yet to come.
