Chiefs fans didn't need any more reasons to unleash their frustration and rage toward Skyy Moore but the third-year receiver provided them with more ammo on Sunday's win over the Chargers.

During a third-and-two situation in the second quarter of the game, Patrick Mahomes threw a pass to Moore, his first target of the season. What was a very catchable pass turned into a drop in Moore's hands.

That obviously infuriated Chiefs fans who have grown accustomed to Moore's dropped passes over the years. However, it wasn't just the fanbase who were furious with the former second-round pick's mistakes. Fox4 News Kansas City's Harold Kuntz reported on Monday that Chiefs GM Brett Veach was enraged with Moore, slamming the table in front of him in frustration.

Chiefs News: Brett Veach Reportedly Lost It When Skyy Moore Dropped the Pass

The organization has stood behind Moore ever since his selection with the 54th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Even after the game yesterday, head coach Andy Reid showed his support for Moore, saying he is a good football player who has given them "some good downs".

"Skyy's a good football player. He's given us some good downs. He had the one drop yesterday on the third down that he knows he has to make, but he's given us some good downs over these four games. We're OK there."

Yet, Week 4 may have been the last drop for the Chiefs. Moore was quickly demoted, losing his snaps to Mecole Hardman. It is hard to see him bounce back again and earn a role on this team.

Brett Veach will be a busy general manager in the upcoming weeks. After Rashee Rice's injury, it's clear that the team needs more depth and quality in the wide receiver room. An addition to the WR room will mean that Skyy Moore will get fewer snaps, a welcome development for Chiefs fans.
