Star Chiefs WR Rashee Rice seemingly suffered a significant knee injury during the first quarter of Sunday's Week 4 game against the Chargers. He was quickly ruled out and the video suggests he could be out for a long period of time.

That creates a major problem for Kansas City's offense, which has already struggled even with the second-year wideout looking like one of the best receivers in the league. Isiah Pacheco and Marquise "Hollywood" Brown are already out, so the Chiefs are suddenly missing three of their most important offensive players.

It's a disastrous situation for the two-time defending Super Bowl champions. Assuming that Rice will miss time, the organization has to upgrade the receiver room. Let's look at some potential trade targets who could be available if Brett Veach decides to make a move.

1. DeAndre Hopkins - Tennessee Titans

While he's not the All-Pro receiver he once was, DeAndre Hopkins still has plenty of juice in the tank even at 32 years old. He proved as much with six catches for 73 yards and a TD in Week 3 against the Packers. The Tennessee Titans are a disaster with no real hope at making the playoffs, giving Veach an opportunity to save Hopkins and give him a chance with a true contender.

Just last year, Hopkins caught 75 of 137 targets for 1,057 yards and seven TDs. He's got some of the surest hands in the league with a skillset that complements Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy well.

Hopkins is on a two-year deal with Tennessee and likely wants one more payday before his career ends. Going to Kansas City would let the five-time All-Pro rebuild his value and prove to teams that he's worthy of another contract.

From the Chiefs' perspective, they could get a proven, reliable weapon at a low cost. There's no surefire replacement for Rice, though Hopkins is one of the best options who might be available.
