Isiah Pacheco enjoyed an excellent sophomore season that saw him become one of the NFL's most effective running backs and a pillar of the Chiefs' offense. While he's been disrespected by public rankings, that disrespect has extended to the sportsbooks now as well.

DraftKings Sportsbook released season-long player props for a variety of players. Oddsmakers expect a big rookie campaign from WR Xavier Worthy, though Pacheco's props are noticeably low.

Barring injury, it's difficult to imagine Pacheco not hitting his overs with relative ease.

Isiah Pacheco Player Props Underrate His Impact on Chiefs' Offense

Isiah Pacheco Season-Long Player Props

Total

Rushing Yards

875.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Rushing TDs

6.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

DraftKings has Pacheco's rushing yards prop set at 875.5 and his rushing TDs prop set at 6.5. With Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire as the top two backs on the roster, I'd be stunned if Pacheco doesn't clear at least 900 rushing yards.

Despite playing in only 14 games last year, Pacheco finished with 935 rushing yards and seven TDs, adding 244 yards and another pair of scores through the air. Averaging 4.6 yards per carry, Pacheco cleared this prop with ease and would've secure his first 1,000-yard season if not for his injury.

If he averages 4.6 yards per carry again, Pacheco would need only 191 carries to hit his rushing yards over. The TDs are a bit more difficult, though the Chiefs should have more scoring opportunities with a revamped wide receiver room.

Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown and Xavier Worthy were brought in to help spread defenses out and give Kansas City more room underneath to operate. That should result in more advantageous looks for Pacheco. If defenses have to respect the deep pass, Pacheco will wrack up yardage without much trouble.

Patrick Mahomes is obviously the sun around which the Chiefs orbit, though Pacheco's importance to this offense shouldn't be overlooked. I'm jumping on these props early and think the former seventh-round pick is in for his best year yet.
