The Kansas City Chiefs are traveling to play the Los Angeles Chargers in an AFC West tilt in Week 4. They are seeking to stay undefeated and improve to 4-0 in the first quarter of the season.

Despite their early season success, they have been hit with some injuries to key guys on the offensive end. Running back Isiah Pacheco went down with a fractured fibula. That forced the Chiefs to add Kareem Hunt for a reunion to bolster the backfield.

Hunt was elevated to the 53-man roster on Tuesday and head coach Andy Reid revealed their plan for him on Sunday.

Chiefs News: Kareem Hunt Will Get Some Snaps in Week 4

When speaking to reporters on Wednesday afternoon, Reid said they'll play the RB rotation by ear in the game.

"We'll get (Kareem Hunt) back into the swing of things and see how it rolls."

Last week, Carson Steele logged a team-high 46 snaps, and Samaje Perine had 28 snaps. Hunt will eat into some of these plays but we'll have to see how much he actually plays.

Hunt still has gas left in the tank, and he displayed that with the Cleveland Browns over the past five seasons. In 2023, the Toledo product racked up 411 rushing yards, nine rushing scores, and 84 receiving yards.

Due to his history in Reid's system and having a good week of practice, Hunt could make a positive impact in Week 4.

He'll obviously get better as the season goes on but Week 4's contest is the first step.
